Spring Cleaning

April is always the month when the cleaning bug bites me. I have a tendency to clean up with a vengeance (so no one knows where anything is anymore. *wink*)This year I have decided to start with my studio.

From now until the middle of April everything is 25% off. I mean everything including the clearance section has been marked down 25% off.

I want to launch a new line this spring and we need the space so come on over to Jewelled Trellis and pick up your favorite piece before its gone.

Rhapsody in Blue

I love the color blue. I love it in its soft and serenest forms of sky blue to the sassy indigo expressions of late night after sunset. Its calming yet bold, serene yet sassy and always gorgeous.

I also have a group of fantastic artists that have become confidants, counselors and chums. I have featured some of these fantastic people in my first Etsy treasury. The treasury is open here but here are the pictures for those who miss the treasury.

I found a great resource today. This interview I think really characterized what my life with Fibromyalgia is like. Its a short slide show and I encourage anyone who has Fibromyalgia or who knows or loves someone who does to take a moment to watch it.

If I were....

If I were a month I’d be September

If I were a day I’d be Sunday
If I were a time of day I’d be just after sunset.
If I were a planet I’d be Neptune

If I were a sea animal I’d be an anemone
If I were a direction I’d be everywhere
If I were a piece of furniture I’d be a big soft loveseat
If I were a liquid I’d be seawater

If I were a gem stone I’d be Sapphire
If I were a tree I’d be a Maple

If I were a tool I’d be a bent nosed pliers
If I were a flower I’d be a bachelor button

If I were an element of weather I’d be a soft summer rain
If I were a musical instrument I’d be a harp
If I were a color I'd be indigo

If I were an emotion I’d be solace

If I were a fruit I’d be a dragonfruit
If I were a sound I’d be a sigh
If I were an element I'd be water

If I were a car I’d be a well loved sedan

If I were a food I’d be comforting
If I were a place I’d be the seashore
If I were a material I'd be silk

If I were a taste I’d be savory

If I were a scent I’d be blackberry

If I were a body part I’d be hands
If I were a facial expression I'd be a smile through tears
If I were a song I’d be sung to a child.

If I were a bird I'd be an chickadee.

If I were a gift I'd be given in love
If I were a street I'd be a street in

If I were a city I'd be Gamla Stan.
If I were a door I'd be welcoming.

If I were a pair of shoes I’d be lace up boots
