If I were....

If I were a month I’d be September

If I were a day I’d be Sunday
If I were a time of day I’d be just after sunset.
If I were a planet I’d be Neptune

If I were a sea animal I’d be an anemone
If I were a direction I’d be everywhere
If I were a piece of furniture I’d be a big soft loveseat
If I were a liquid I’d be seawater

If I were a gem stone I’d be Sapphire
If I were a tree I’d be a Maple

If I were a tool I’d be a bent nosed pliers
If I were a flower I’d be a bachelor button

If I were an element of weather I’d be a soft summer rain
If I were a musical instrument I’d be a harp
If I were a color I'd be indigo

If I were an emotion I’d be solace

If I were a fruit I’d be a dragonfruit
If I were a sound I’d be a sigh
If I were an element I'd be water

If I were a car I’d be a well loved sedan

If I were a food I’d be comforting
If I were a place I’d be the seashore
If I were a material I'd be silk

If I were a taste I’d be savory

If I were a scent I’d be blackberry

If I were a body part I’d be hands
If I were a facial expression I'd be a smile through tears
If I were a song I’d be sung to a child.

If I were a bird I'd be an chickadee.

If I were a gift I'd be given in love
If I were a street I'd be a street in

If I were a city I'd be Gamla Stan.
If I were a door I'd be welcoming.

If I were a pair of shoes I’d be lace up boots

And what would you be? This is a great way to get to know yourself. What do you see yourself as? Thank you Ruth for the inspiration to try this out. You can read Ruth's blog here.

  2. Gamla stan is the old town in the heart of Stockholm. You have to cross foot bridges to get there and its so lovely. Old cobbled streets and winding passageways. The shops are stone and so charming. I visited every chance I could when I lived in Sweden.
